Old age is often accompanied by loneliness and neglect. Project Aasra aims to bring smiles back to the faces of those who spent their lives building our society.
👵 Activities We Undertake
- Day Care Center: A safe space for the elderly to spend their day, engage in activities like yoga, reading, and storytelling.
- Mobile Geriatric Care: Our van visits bedridden seniors in slum areas to provide basic medicines and physiotherapy.
- 'Adopt a Grandparent': connecting youth volunteers with elderly people for companionship.
❤️ How You Can Help
- Spend Time: Visit our center on Sundays to talk and play games.
- Sponsor a Meal: ₹1500 can sponsor healthy meals for 20 seniors.
- Donate Supplies: Adult diapers, walking sticks, and winter clothes are always needed.
